Our Story

The issue that Seguros Medical Products Founding CEO, Antonio Braham, experienced while working at UC Davis Medical Center (UCDMC) was unorganized medical equipment which hindered patient safety, staff safety, and staff productivity.

The issue became apparent when Antonio assisted a nurse in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). He tripped over a cable that was attached to the nurse's patient. Antonio fell, and the cable dislodged from the patient. Antonio began noticing other hospital staff, primarily ICU nurses, were experiencing unorganized equipment or “Spaghetti Syndrome” and were trying to solve it by improvising non-hospital-approved organizational mechanisms that were made out of tourniquets, popsicle sticks, and tape. Braham knew that if “Spaghetti Syndrome” was a problem at UC Davis Medical Center, it was also in other facilities.

Antonio’s ten years of experience on the front lines empowered him to develop a product that improves patient safety, staff safety, and productivity.
